The archives exhibition of the MOFTI launched on November 11, 2022

The Training Institute, Ministry of Finance (MOFTI), established in October 1969, organized the precious photos, video records, and historical archives over the past fifty years, and launched the archives exhibition on November 11, 2022, to demonstrate the development of the training system since its establishment 53 years ago.

Cooperating with the National Archives Administration to celebrate "Archives Month" every November, the MOFTI invited the Minister of Finance, Dr. Su, and the heads of various agencies and units of the Ministry of Finance to visit this exhibition. The exhibition shows various professional programs, including pre-employment trainings, on-the-job trainings, professional legal practices, trainings of international taxation, customs affairs, national treasury, national property, international fiscal affairs, promotion of private participation, and languages courses. These courses were conducted in face-to-face settings and distance learning programs, and even provided overseas video courses during the COVID-19 pandemic.

As stated by Minister Su, the MOFTI has held more than 7,000 classes and trained over 420,000 trainees, from the basic training of new recruits, the improvement of professional knowledge and ability, to the refinement of cross-domain capabilities of management talents. To this day, fiscal personnel forms the solid and stable foundation for the government, an important key to the successful promotion of national affairs, and especially an important boost to enhance international competitiveness.

Director General Hsu of MOFTI said that the Institute will continue cultivating fiscal officials towards the vision of "keep improving to get high-quality training and cultivating outstanding talents" in the future.
