The MOFTI received the 20th Golden Archive Awards, acknowledged by premier Chen Chien-jen of the Executive Yuan

The National Development Council held the 20th Government Archives Management Golden Archive Awards and Golden Quality Awards Ceremony on September 5, 2023 at the International Conference Hall  of the National Library. Premier Chen Chien-jen personally presented awards to outstanding agencies and individuals in the field of archive management. The Training Institute, Ministry of Finance (MOFTI), after more than 5 years of making efforts under the leadership of the director-general, all the staff hard worked together, ultimately, standing out among the competitors and achieved the remarkable accomplishment of being one of the top three in the Central Group of the 20th Golden Archive Awards. Director-general Hsu Ning-yung received the awards on behalf of the MOFTI, and the Minister of Finance Chuang Tsui-yun attended the ceremony to share the hard-earned honor and joy with colleagues.

Established over half a century ago, the MOFTI has cultivated numerous fiscal talents for the country. To participate in the Golden Archive Award evaluation, all colleagues spent much time together to organize historical archive materials, precious image records, and cultural artifacts. The MOFTI organized the 〝Quenching Fiscal Training, Transmitting the Gold Archive〞exhibition, inviting officials from various levels of the Ministry of Finance and former directors-generals to visit it. Additionally, showcasing valuable archives and photos of former President Lee Teng-hui and President Tsai Ing-wen serving as lecturers. This garnered attention from the news media. On weekdays, guided tours were arranged for training classes, spreading the word extensively. The MOFTI produced several oral history videos, including interviews with several former Finance Ministers, Director Generals, lecturers, outstanding participants, etc., witnessing the history of then and now by preserving precious audiovisual materials, and enhancing the value of the archives.

The MOFTI expressed gratitude for the honor of receiving the 20th Golden Archive Award. The MOFTI appreciates the recognition from the evaluation committee, which serves as encouragement for archive management personnel. The MOFTI intends to exchange and share their experience of the competition process with participating institutions seeking to learn from benchmarking. Moving forward, the MOFTI will continue to improve and promote archive management endeavors to create diverse values for archives.
