- International taxation academy Since the MOFTI started first International Taxation Academy in 1984, 1,158 local officials and 270 foreign taxation officials from 61 countries have participated in this academy. This academy is not only to introduce the latest taxation knowledge and tackle the trend of international taxation, but also enhance the friendship with the foreign participants and boost cross-border taxation interactions.
- International customs workshop To promote international cooperation, the MOFTI held the APEC Amity Customs Seminars under the framework of APEC in 2002, 2005, 2007, 2008, and 2010. From 2011 to 2018, the MOFTI also invited the members of WTO, WCO and EU, as well as senior customs officials and experts from the United States and Australia, to give the lectures on the latest international customs regulations and share their practical experience in this workshop. The workshops have received extremely positive and affirmative responses from various participants. proving it to not only an important platform for enhancing foreign affairs specialization among customs officials, but also greatly beneficial to collaborating with international customs agencies in the future.
- International taxation seminar Since 2004, the MOFTI invited OECD experts to deliver speeches on transfer pricing, tax treaties, SMEs, and so forth. Furthermore, in 2010, 2013, and from 2016 to 2019, the MOFTI invited experts and scholars from Leiden University and the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands to give lectures on international taxation issues to strengthen the tax official's inspection techniques on multinational tax auditing cases.
- International public infrastructure projects workshop To enhance the efficiency of public finance and raise understanding and professional knowledge among central and local government officials of new international finance trends, the MOFTI has held the international public infrastructure projects workshop each year since 2014 and invited experts from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the Asian Development Bank to give lectures on the financial relations between central and local governments, public expenditures, government bond, government fiscal information system, government budget management and the development of the financial accountability framework, etc.
